About
I am Mikołaj Mijakowski, sometimes also known as Mitos. I'm a Mathematics student at the faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw. My main passion is computer graphics - from mathematical basis and theory of curves and surfaces to practical implementations in game engines and other interactive software.
I am also a hobbyist game developer, with over 8 years of experience with various game engines. My projects were made in Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot. For the last 5 years I have also been playing directly with OpenGL and low-level graphical programming.
In my free time I really enjoy reading books, comics and watching movies. Mostly of the fantasy or science-fiction variety. I am also a player of tabletop role-playing games. On this front, I'm a member of Lovibond RPG and KFiG UW, where I often appear as a Game Master. You could also meet me at various conventions and events all across of Poland.

I have started writing a blog. Contents of this blog will vary, from texts about interesting algorithms and computer graphics, maybe some devlogs and discussions about cool stuff I found during research and creating my games, to relations from fantasy conventions and RPG meetups.
CMMRS 2025 Summer School

This year, between 27th of July and August 3rd, I had an honor and pleasure to take part in CMMRS in Saarbrücken, Germany. During the school I’ve had many amazing opportunities to meet really awesome people from all around the world and learn more about PhD studies and research in general.
